New MergeCOM-3™ HL7 Toolkit

March 10, 2009 - Expanding the interfacing offering to the medical systems development community, Merge Healthcare announces the upcoming release of our new MergeCOM-3™ HL7 Toolkit.

The MergeCOM-3™ HL7 toolkit will offer native HL7 interface implementations, an approach that eliminates the need for broker-based HL7 message mapping, while offering the maximum flexibility for interface implementations. The toolkit will deliver full HL7 v2.5.1 compliance to provide enhanced flexibility and control. This new toolkit is being built for both .Net and Java platforms.

With the combination of this new toolkit and our industry leading DICOM toolkits, solution developers will be able to rely on MergeCOM-3™ to solve any diagnostic connectivity problem, whether building a hand-held point-of-care device, or an enterprise-wide integration web server.

A pre-release version of MergeCOM-3™ HL7 Toolkit is planned to be available April 4th, 2009, followed by the general market release on April 30th, 2009. Evaluation downloads will be available via our download section at www.mergecom3.com.
